Political Science BA or BS (UW-Whitewater)
UW-Whitewater offers an on-line major in Political Science which allows students to complete their coursework by taking web based courses in a shared learning environment. Students will gain skills in research, analysis, and communication as well as an understanding of politics, the political process, government and the relationship of government and politics to society and the institutions of society.
Our goal is to provide a high-quality educational experience that will graduate responsible citizens and professionally prepare students for careers as varied as law, government, political office, diplomatic service, law enforcement, and business.
The department offers students a wide range of courses in all areas of political science, including American government and politics, public policy and administration, comparative government and politics, international relations and political theory. Students will learn a great deal from faculty members who are fully engaged in the discipline, publishing articles, serving in professional organizations and actively sharing their expertise with the community.

To qualify** as a transfer student you must have:
- Completed at least 12 credits that will transfer to UW-Whitewater
- Earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
