Business Administration MBA (UW MBA Consortium)
The Business Administration (UW MBA Consortium) program is a 30-credit online degree program offered in collaboration among UW–Eau Claire, UW–La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh and UW–Parkside.
The Business Administration (UW MBA Consortium) program features content-integrated, theme-based modules rather than traditional stand-alone courses, along with electives designed to let you explore topics relevant to your particular needs and interests.
Upon completion of this degree, you will possess a broad, practical understanding of business and the dynamic, global environment in which it operates, along with the skills needed to manage change and recognize the opportunities it creates and to confront business challenges in an ethical and socially responsible manner.
The majority of students graduate in two to three years once MBA Foundation requirements have been met.
You may apply directly to the program if:
- You have a four-year degree from an accredited college or university
- You have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale)
- You have a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score of 475 or above or a comparable Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score
Please note: Your undergraduate degree need not be in a business area to apply to the MBA Consortium program; however, individuals without four-year business degrees must satisfy MBA program course prerequisites.
Many students do this by enrolling in the Consortium's Foundation courses. If you pursue this option, we recommend that you apply to the MBA program before you begin your first Foundation course. This will allow us to advise you and better track your progress as you complete MBA admission requirements. It will also enable us to send you advanced registration materials.
